Frequently asked questions
A few useful answers before you open KidForms.
KidForms is designed to make school and camp forms simpler without making family or participant access broader than it needs to be.
What does KidForms do?
KidForms turns existing school and camp PDFs into online packets that families can complete and sign. Authorized staff can prepare packets, track completion, and print completed forms.
Who is KidForms for?
KidForms is designed for families, teachers, camp directors, and program staff. What each person can see and do depends on their verified role and the specific class, school, camp, or form.
Can a PTA see forms collected by a teacher?
No by default. Teacher and school forms may contain sensitive family or student information, so a PTA role alone does not grant access to school forms or family submissions.
Do room parents get access to a family directory?
No. A room-parent role does not automatically include directory access or exports. Additional school or class permissions require explicit authorization.
Do families need to download an app?
No. KidForms works in a web browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. Families can use email-based access, with additional sign-in options planned as the pilot expands.
Does KidForms send text messages?
KidForms is not taking on the role of an SMS sender. Product communications are intentionally limited, and any future phone-based convenience must preserve clear consent and sender responsibility.
How do I know which Terms and Privacy Notice apply?
The Terms and Privacy pages always load the currently published, effective versions from KidForms. Signed-in users are asked to review them on first use and again whenever a new version takes effect.
Is KidForms already available at every school?
Not yet. The directory can show nearby public schools, including schools that are available to add. KidForms is starting with focused pilots so identity, permissions, privacy, and support are tested before broader expansion.
How can I contact KidForms?
Email support@kidforms.com for product help, legal@kidforms.com for legal questions, or privacy@kidforms.com for privacy questions, rights requests, and data concerns.
